Overview
An article is a product style. Every SKU belongs to one article, so create the article before its SKUs. The Articles page lists the articles of the selected organization and lets you add, edit and deactivate them.
Guidelines
Article numbers are permanent
The Article No can't be changed after the article is created. Check it before you save.
Set the tax category
Pick the right Tax Category so GST is calculated correctly on every SKU of the article.
Steps
Step 1: Open Articles
Go to Catalog → Articles and choose your Organization. Use the search box to find an article by number or name.
Step 2: Add an article
Click Add Article. The button is disabled until an organization is selected. Fill in Article No and Article Name (both required), and optionally Brand, Tax Category and Description, then save.
Step 3: Edit many articles at once
Use Edit as sheet to change several articles in a spreadsheet-style grid instead of opening them one by one.
Step 4: Deactivate an article
Use Deactivate Article on its row when you stop selling it. The article stays in your records for past transactions.
