Overview
Master Data holds the reference lists you pick from when you create articles and SKUs. Each list has its own tab: Brands, Sizes, Colors, Fabrics, Patterns, Sleeves, Lengths, Tax Categories, Seasons, Product Groups, Divisions and Design Types.
Guidelines
Keep codes short and stable
Codes appear in reports and imports. Use short, meaningful codes (for example BLK for black) and avoid renaming them later.
Use the standard GST tax categories
Name tax categories GST0, GST5, GST12, GST18 or GST28. For sales within a state the tax is split 50-50 into CGST and SGST; for sales to another state IGST is the full slab.
Steps
Step 1: Open Master Data
Go to Catalog → Master Data and pick the tab for the list you want to change.
Step 2: Add an entry
Click Add (for example Add Size), enter a Code and a Name (both required), and save.
Step 3: Edit an entry
Use Edit on the row to correct the name or other details.
Step 4: Delete an unused entry
Use Delete on the row. You can only delete an entry that isn't used by any product, and the delete can't be undone.
Step 5: Update many entries from a spreadsheet
Use Magic Import / Update to add or update master data in bulk from an Excel file.

- CGST / SGST / IGST
