Overview
New people join Upflow Sprint by invitation. From Users you invite them with an initial role, then add or remove organization and site memberships, reset passwords or deactivate accounts as people change jobs.
Guidelines
One person, one account
Invite each person with their own email address so actions are recorded against the right user.
Steps
Step 1: Open Users
Go to Users in the sidebar. The page shows Total Users, Active Organizations and Available Roles.
Step 2: Invite the user
Click Invite User and fill in Email Address, Full Name, Organization and Initial Role. Roles are marked (Org-level) or (Site-level).
Step 3: Pick the site for site-level roles
If you chose a site-level role (for example Store Manager or Cashier), choose the Initial Site.
Step 4: Send the invitation
Click Send Invitation. The user receives an email to set their password and is then signed in to the Dashboard.
Step 5: Resend an invitation
If the user didn't receive or let the link expire, use Resend Invite on their row.
Step 6: Manage roles later
Use Manage Roles on a user's row to add or remove organization memberships and site memberships.
Step 7: Edit, reset or remove
Edit User changes name, phone and status (Active/Inactive); the email can't be changed. Reset Password sets a new password. Remove from Organization removes their access to your organization.
