How pricing works
Which price is used at the till: site price lists, then global price lists, then the SKU's default MRP.

Overview
Every SKU has a default MRP. Price lists let you set different prices for all your stores (a global list) or for one store (a site-specific list). When a SKU is sold, Upflow Sprint uses the first price it finds in this order: Site Price List → Global Price List → SKU Default MRP.
Guidelines
Use the SKU MRP as your baseline
Keep each SKU's MRP correct. It is the price used whenever no price list covers the SKU.
Use site lists only for real differences
Create a site-specific list only where a store must charge differently. Fewer lists are easier to keep correct.
Steps
Step 1: Open Pricing
Click Pricing in the sidebar. Pricing Management links to Price Lists and shows the pricing hierarchy.
Step 2: Set up price lists
Open Price Lists to create global or site-specific lists and add SKU prices to them. See Creating and managing price lists.
Step 3: Check tax categories
GST rates are set by tax categories, which are kept in Catalog → Master Data → Tax Categories.
Terms
- Global price list
A price list that applies to every site in the organization.
- Site-specific price list
A price list that applies to one site only. It takes precedence over global lists.
Key points
Site price list beats global price list, which beats the SKU's MRP.
Only price lists with Active status are used.
FAQs
Why is a store charging a different price from the others?
It probably has an active site-specific price list with an entry for that SKU.
Where do I change the GST rate?
Change the article's tax category, or the tax category itself in Master Data.
